Accessibility Statement

Momentum Funders is committed to making our platform accessible to everyone — regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. This statement outlines our approach and ongoing efforts.

At Momentum Funders, we believe that access to business capital should be open to every entrepreneur — and that starts with a website that everyone can use. We are actively working to ensure our digital platform meets the needs of users with disabilities, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time task.

If you encounter any barrier on our platform, please contact us directly. We will work with you to ensure you can access the information or assistance you need.

01Our Commitment

Momentum Funders is committed to providing a digital experience that is inclusive, equitable, and usable by people of all abilities. We recognize that accessibility is not a checkbox — it is an ongoing practice embedded in how we design, build, and maintain our platform.

Our commitment extends to every aspect of the user journey, from visiting our homepage for the first time to submitting a funding application and receiving support from our advisors.

02Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognized benchmark for web accessibility. These guidelines are organized around four core principles:

  • Perceivable — content is presented in ways all users can perceive, including those using assistive technologies
  • Operable — all interface components and navigation are fully keyboard-accessible and usable without a mouse
  • Understandable — content is written in clear language and our interface behaves in predictable, consistent ways
  • Robust — our platform is built to work reliably across a wide range of browsers, devices, and assistive tools

03Accessibility Features

Our website has been designed and developed with the following accessibility considerations in place:

  • Semantic HTML structure using proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA labels where applicable
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios across all text and interactive elements to support users with low vision
  • Full keyboard navigation support — every interactive element can be reached and activated without a mouse
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images to support screen reader users
  • Responsive, flexible layouts that adapt cleanly to any screen size or zoom level up to 200%
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second, reducing risk for users with photosensitive conditions
  • Form fields with clear, visible labels and descriptive error messages

04Known Limitations

While we work diligently toward full accessibility, some areas of our platform may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards entirely. Known limitations include:

  • Third-party embedded tools, such as our lender application form, are provided by external vendors and may have their own accessibility constraints outside our direct control
  • Some older PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully screen-reader compatible — accessible versions are available on request
  • Certain interactive data visualizations may not yet have complete text-based equivalents

We are actively working with our partners and development team to address these gaps as quickly as possible.

05Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our platform has been tested for compatibility with a range of commonly used assistive technologies, including:

  • Screen readers: NVDA with Firefox, JAWS with Chrome, and VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS
  • Keyboard-only navigation across all major desktop browsers
  • Browser-based zoom and text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • High-contrast display modes and operating system accessibility settings

If you experience any compatibility issues not listed here, we encourage you to reach out so we can investigate and respond promptly.

06Alternative Ways to Access Our Services

If any part of our digital platform presents a barrier for you, we are happy to assist you through alternative channels. Our team is available by phone and email to help you explore funding options, complete an application, or answer any questions you may have — without requiring you to use the website.

  • Call us at (844) 988-2530 to speak with a funding advisor directly
  • Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within one business day
  • Request a document in an alternative accessible format at any time

07Accessibility Feedback

We welcome and actively encourage feedback from our users about the accessibility of our platform. If you discover a barrier, have a suggestion, or experience difficulty using any part of our site, please let us know. All accessibility-related feedback is reviewed by our team and used to inform future improvements.

We aim to acknowledge all accessibility feedback within two business days and provide a substantive response or resolution within ten business days where possible.
